Troubleshooting Left Stop/Turn Circuit Not Working on Trailer Wiring
Updated 03/19/2018 | Published 03/17/2018 >
Question:
My 2008 Tubdra left towing turn signal wire yellow has no power going to it at the trailer Plug. I’ve checked all of the “towing“ fuses in all of them are fine. And it seems all of the wires seems to be in good condition as well. Is there something I’m missing?

Try inspecting the trailer connector front and back looking for any cut wires or corrosion that may be causing the problem. In most situations like this the problem is just some corrosionon the pin of the connector. The left turn/stop circuit of a 7-way is on the 9:00 pin position.
You can also use a circuit tester like part # 3808 to test the wiring of this circuit further and further up the wiring till you find the reason the circuit stopped working.
