I see the class II for my 2017 VW Tiguan, is there one available with the 2” x 2” ?

For the 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan and Tiguan Limited we do offer both 1-1/4-inch Class II and also 2-inch Class III hitches. All four products are shown on the linked page.

The two 2-inch hitches available are the etrailer # e98906 and Curt # C13133. Both share a common 350-lb tongue weight capacity and essentially identical installation processes. I recommend using the etrailer hitch since it does NOT require use of a support strap # 18050 as the Curt does for non-towing use as with a bike rack or cargo carrier. If trailer towing is your intention, then use either hitch. If you intend to use a bike rack, be sure to choose a Class III-compatible type like the Kuat Transfer # KU24FR.

Towing also requires a wiring harness to operate the trailer lights. You can use 4-pole kit # 118675 for basic lighting functions. The linked video and help article will be useful.

For towing you also need a ball mount, hitch ball, hitch pin and clip. For a handy kit that includes multiple ball mounts and multiple hitch balls use kit # 989900.
