Will Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch DT45509 Replace Factory Hitch on 2007 Dodge Ram 2500?

Question:

I have 2007 dodge ram 2500 4wd, will this hitch take the place of my factory hitch? What I dont want is one that hangs below the factory hitch. Appreciate any information

Yes, the Draw-Tite # DT45509 will take the place of the factory hitch on your 2007 Dodge Ram 2500; it will require the removal of that hitch in order to install. This is a 2-1/2 inch hitch with a towing capacity of 18,000 lbs and a tongue weight capacity of 2,000 lbs.
