Will MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Adapter Fitting 401132-MBS Fit a Fairview Female Quick Disconnect

Question:
Does the MB Sturgis male Model 250 quick disconnect work with Fairview female quick disconnect? The RV I have has the Female Fairview fitting for attaching like a grill.

MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Adapter Fitting # 401132-MBS is designed to fit in a female 1/4 inch quick disconnect. However, we have been told that different brands are not always compatible. MB Sturgis has also said though that their quick disconnects will work with any brand. If your Fairview is a 1/4 inch then this adapter is the best option we have.
