The Optronics LED Utility Light # UCL60CB is a sealed 6-diode light for use in 12V systems. My technical contact at Optronics confirmed that this light can be used with a dimmer rather than an on/off switch, such as to replace an existing light that is operated by a dimmer control.

The only potential issue is at the bottom of the light output range.

Some combinations of lights and dimmers will give you a fairly small range of adjustment at the low side of their output. In other words, if the dimmer switch is turned fully off, as you raise its power level the light output from this fixture may not be linear - the brightness level may jump up. Basically you would lose the fine gradations of output at the bottom of the range.
