Can Etrack Be Used with Aluminum Trailer

Question:

Hi, I have a trailex CT-7541 aluminum open trailer and would like to install E-tracks on it. But Im worried about corrosion between two different metals. screws/fasteners, E-track with aluminum floor of the trailer Do you sell the time of fasteners I can use or know where I can buy them? Thank you.

E-Track like # E19148 is zinc-coated steel and since the trailer is aluminum you would want to paint the bottom of the E-Track. Otherwise the dissimilar metals can cause corrosion to start.

Be sure to also consider the fasteners used. Zinc-coated fasteners could be used but you will want to spray some paint in the areas there the fasteners are under the trailer. Best option would probably be to use a backing plate like part # e96RR to secure the tracks as this is steel and steel hardware can be used with it easily.
