The Du-Ha Tote Wheeled Storage Container and Gun Case # DU70103 referenced in your question can certainly be used to transport items other than guns, such as fishing poles. The container features inside dimensions of 52 inches long, 14 inches wide, and 11 inches tall. With the 52 inch length, your poles will likely need to be ones that can be broken down into a couple pieces to fit, but this is an extremely sturdy container that will do a great job of protecting them during travel.
