How to Power an Electric Winch on a Trailer with the Vehicles Battery

Question:
Can you tell me what I need to wire my truck battery to an trailer winch. I seen a question on this for a two battery system but now a single battery system. Also do you offer wiring an diagram. Thanks!!

Absolutely, in order to wire an electric winch to the vehicle's battery you will need a wiring kit like the Bulldog Winch Rear Wiring Kit part # BDW20206 which includes two 20' long 2 gauge wires that run from the vehicle's battery to the trailer as well as two quick disconnect terminals for each end. The only other thing you will need to use with this wiring kit on your vehicle will be a circuit breaker that is appropriate for your winch which will need to be placed 6" from the vehicle's battery.
