Question:

Hi, question on your roof rack. When it asks with or without rails, is it referring to the flush plastic? I have a 2016 fiat 500x that doesn't have raised rails but it does have flush plastic trim that runs down length of roof. Does the Thule sit on top of this or require removal of the plastic strips?

The fit guide is asking about the flush plastic rails that are raised up on the vehicle. If you have flat, plastic trim without any raised area to it, then you don't have flush rails.

Since it sounds like you don't have flush rails, I recommend Inno's Aero kit, consisting of:
