Length of Pigtail Hose with Fittings Versus Length of Actual Hose

Question:
I purchased a similar hose from another dealer and the hose length stated 12 inches but the hose length was only 10 inches. Is the hose on this one really 12 inches long or overall?CAM59053

The overall length of the # CAM59053 including adapters is 14-3/4 inches. The actual hose length is 12 inches long. I've attached a photo and some videos to further assist.
