Question:
I own an 09 Ram 2500 with an 8inch lift kit and 37inch tires. is there a product available so that I can tow a toy hauler? a hitch with some sort of stabilization for the trailer? I saw something about a GEN Y product. could you please put me in the right direction. Thanks

We do have a nice selection of adjustable ball mounts that might work to tow your trailer level with your 2009 Ram that features an 8 inch lift. I first recommend taking a few measurements to see exactly what kind of drop you are needing on the ball mount. Starting with the truck parked on level ground, measure from the ground to the top of the hitch receiver. Then on your trailer, take a measurement from the ground to the bottom of the coupler. The difference in these two measurements will give you the specific drop you are needing to keep your setup level.
As you mentioned in your question, the Gen-Y ball mounts we have available, such as the excellent # 325-GH-316, will feature the largest drops. This particular ball mount features 6 adjustable positions, providing up to a 12-1/2 inch drop and it has a towing capacity of 10,000 pounds. You can then add the Adjustable Stabilizer Bar Kit # 325-GH-0100 to add stability to the unit, especially if you plan on utilizing the lowest position.
I have attached a couple short video demonstrations on these products, along with a link that will take you to our available selection of Gen-Y ball mounts that you can look through.
