The Custom Mounting Brackets for Demco Hijacker SL Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # DM8553017 is only a fit for 2017 to 2018 Ford F-250 and F-350 models with 6-3/4 foot bed. None of our manufacturers have a custom fit bracket for your 1996 Ram 2500, so I recommend the Demco SL # DM8553003-12 for the complete compatible kit or just # DM8553003 for the brackets and bracket mounting hardware.
