If it really feels like your front wheels aren't making good contact with the road you are in a dangerous situation. That would mean that in an emergency you wouldn't be able to stop or turn quickly.
I looked up the towing capacity of your vehicle and it could be between 2,000 and 4,500 lbs. First thing you need to do is verify that you are not exceeding your capacity.
