The Replacement Hardware Kit # 40-014PK that you referenced is compatible with the Westin Sportsman Grille Guard parts # 40-0145 and 45-0140. These are compatible with various year models of the Dodge Dakota and Durango.
Since grille guards and bull bars are vehicle specific you will want to go with a different part number for your 1996 Chevrolet K1500.
For the same style grille guard from Westin you will want to use part # 40-0085 for Black Powder Coated Steel or part # 45-0080 for Stainless Steel. These parts both come with the mounting kit # 40-008PK to mount them to your Chevy.
