Question:
Hi, Im looking for a roof vent with fan for a cargo van that can run on batteriesbatteries in the unit, not the battery in the vehicle. Is there such a thing? Thanks, Jim

There is not a powered fan vent that runs off of batteries like a 9v or C's. You will need to utilize the wires to obtain a 12 volt power supply for the vent like the MaxxFan Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00A04301K, but you can utilize whatever system you want to get that versus using the vehicle battery. A, C, and D series batteries can be stacked to give you this. You would need 6 of them as they are each 2v.
You could also look into lithium battery options. 12v and 5amps are needed for this to function.
