What is the pressure regulated to and what do the colors mean?

The Camco RV Water Pressure Regulator w/ Gauge - Brass # CAM40064 will help regulate the water flow to a consistent 40-50 psi. The yellow zone indicates pressure below 40 psi and the red zone indicates pressure above 50 psi.
