The wiring harness you referenced, part # 118242 would not be compatible with your 2011 F150. It is designed for the 1997-2003 model years only.

The parts necessary to provide a 7-way for your F150 would depend on how it was equipped when it left the factory.

If your F-150 has the factory round plug located along the drivers side frame rail behind the back bumper, you would use part # 74682. The factory plug will have a dust cover that will need to be removed, and the 74682 would plug right it.

If your F-150 does not have the round plug, but has a 4-pole connector, part # 37185 can be used. It would plug into the existing 4-pole, with the blue wire attaching the the blue output wire from a brake controller, the black wire attaching to the positive battery terminal via a 40 amp circuit breaker part # 9510. The purple wire is typically used for trailer reverse lights. If needed, it is tapped into the reverse light circuit on the F-150. If not needed, it can be taped off.

If the truck has no tow wiring harness whatsoever, a 4-pole can easily be installed by using part # C56110. The 4-pole then would be plugged into the # 37185 as explained above.
