I have a stromberg fifth wheel tailgate for a 2012 F350 now I have a 2017 F350 tailgate wont fit is there a kit to make it right

I do have a 5th wheel tailgate for your 2017 Ford F-350 but a 5th wheel tailgate from a 2012 Ford F-350 will not work for you nor is there a kit to convert one to the other. Your best option is to purchase the tailgate specifically designed for your truck and sell the old one to recoup some of your money. For your 2017 Ford F-350, I recommend using the Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate part # VG-15-4000. This is currently the only option we have for you at this time.

The Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series is a louvered tailgate with 5th wheel cut out specifically designed for your F-350. The Louver Insert Kit part # 4000-V can be added to the tailgate and paint matched to your vehicle to retain a factory look. The tailgate locks when closed and comes with 2 keys. It is made right here in the U.S.A. and is also considerably lighter than stock weighing in at around 35 lbs.
