The Curt Pintle Hook # C48200 referenced in your question includes a 2-5/16 inch ball that can absolutely be swapped out for a 2 inch ball like # C48820.
This pintle hook and ball combo features a 16,000 pound towing capacity, a strong forged steel construction and a rust-resistant finish. It will bolt on to a pintle hook mounting plate like # C48343 for 2 inch hitch receivers.
