Question:

My carbon monoxide propane detector that comes on around 4 oclock in the morning does it need to take a 9 volt battery it is on 12 volt.

Your detector going off is usually a sign of low power voltage. Detectors can run off household batteries or wired directly to your 12-volt trailer battery. If you have power properly supplied then troubleshoot the detector location. It should be near the floor and not next to a propane appliance like a stove, and not in direct sunlight. If you have a defective unit you can replace it with the RVSafe # RS34FR detector
