Question:
I have a 2007 Ford F150. Just wondering if a hitch from another make or model would fit. No factory hitch

Trailer hitches are typically custom-fit for specific model and year vehicles. It is very unlikely that a trailer hitch from another make or model will fit your 2007 Ford F-150.
With this in mind, I took a look through the trailer hitches available for your 2007 Ford F-150 to see if they also are a fit for other vehicles. The trailer hitches for your particular F-150, such as the excellent Curt Class IV Receiver Hitch # C14360, are also a fit for the 2006-2008 Lincoln Mark LT. A trailer hitch from any other vehicle will not work with your truck.
This above Class IV hitch will use existing holes in the truck's frame for a no-drill installation and features a 2 inch receiver for use with your ball mount or hitch-mounted accessories. I have attached the installation instructions that you can also take a look at.
