Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2007 Ford F-150

Question:
My 2007 F150 supercab 2 wheel drive truck came with the factory tow package. After 10+ years, the receiver socket is rusted to the hitch and wont come out. With this much rust, I question the integrity of the hitch. Is there a replacement hitch available that will bolt in with no mods?

For your 2007 Ford F-150 Supercab 2WD, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13365 . This is a simple bolt on installation once the factory hitch is removed. I've attached a video to assist with the installation.
For a ball mount, I recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
