Water Heater in 1984 Fleetwood RV Will Not Ignite

Question:
My wife and I recently purchased a 1984 38ft fleetwood southwind rv and we are having trouble with our atwood propane water heater I turned it on this morning to take a shower and later that day when my wife used it it wouldnt light do you have any suggestions for me that could help it would he greatly appreciated as you can see in the pictures the light is on and it will not ignite

It's very possible that the thermocouple could have gone bad, which is a fairly common cause for a water heater not to light. We do have a few replacement thermocouples available, such as the 18-inch # CAM09273, which are all universal-fit items.
I also recommend checking to make sure there are no loose connections anywhere and that everything is securely attached.
Lastly, if the unit on your RV is an older model, it might simply need to be replaced. I have attached a link that will take you to our available selection of water heaters that you can also look through if needed.
