Yes, you can mount the Yakima SlimShady Roll-Out Awning # Y36VR to either the rear rail or on the sides of the basket by attaching to the bottom bars of your MegaWarrior rooftop cargo basket # Y07080. My Yakima contact confirmed no adapters or additional parts are required to get you 'made in the shade' on your next camping outing. So, in effect you have three mounting point options, driver-side, passenger-side or rear of vehicle.
Of course, the SlimShady can also mount to virtually any shape or roof rack crossbar too, including round, square, aero, elliptical, and most factory crossbars. The rack crossbars do need to be at least 24-inches apart for stability.
