Using the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter on a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
Question:
Just installed on 2018 chevy silverado 2500 with 61/2 foot bed. I see the goose neck s in and locks and the smaller post in front sit in puck system but the rear posts are larger and just sit on top of pucks. Is this correct? Thanks

I spoke to my contact at Demco about the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package part # DM6194 for your 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and they informed me that it is normal for the rear posts on the adapter to sit atop the factory pucks in the truck bed as long as the gooseneck receiver and front posts are securely in place.
