Question:
I want to run a second line from the 20lb. Propane bottle to a portable heaterbig buddy. If I purchase your Y , from the bottle, it puts the regulator at a 45 degree angle. Its originally horizontal. Is that OK?

Helpful Expert Reply:
A vertical regulator can be up to 45 degrees as can a horizontal regulator. You don't want to exceed that on either one. Your horizontal regulator will function fine as long as it is within that 45 degrees. For your application, I recommend the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting for Type 1 Valve - 1/4" FIF and Disposable Cylinder Ports # 103612-MBS along with the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose for Small Appliance - Disposable Cylinder Ports - 12' # 100284-144-MBS. This will give you your horizontal connection to your tank and regulator and give you the port of your Big Buddy Heater as well.
