5th Wheel Pin Box to Replace Fabex Pin Box Model 520

Question:

Looking to replace my 5th wheel pin box. Current pin box label reads Fabex Inc. 219-293-0717 MDL 520 LBS 15K CSA Z240.1.2 Can send photo if necessary. Not sure what is a direct replacement.

We offer several replacement 5th wheel pin boxes that will bolt up in place of your Fabex model 520. For a fixed (non-pivoting) cushioned pin box that will soften the ride in a long-bed pickup you can use Reese 5th Airborne part # 5AB-S500-700 which replaces the Fabex 520 as well as many other OEM pin box models. This pin box is rated for 21K.

If you are towing with a short-bed pickup that needs extra turning clearance then the Sidewinder pivoting pin box model # RP61412 is the right option. This is rated for 16K.
