For your 2016 Audi A3 the correct part number for the Curt hitch is part # C11399. Curt recommends using the Curt Trailer Hitch Support Strap part # 18050 to reduce chucking and jarring for all non-towing applications. The support strap must be used to abide by their warranty. The Curt hitch is made in the U.S.A. This is a great option for you.

If you can tell me what you will be using the hitch for, I would be glad to offer some additional recommendations for you but in the meantime, I have attached a few videos that shows the support strap being used should you decide to choose the Curt hitch.

For a bike rack that will work well with the Class I 1-1/4" hitch receiver on your Audi and allow you to carry two bikes, I recommend taking a look at the Thule Camber 2 Bike Rack part # TH9058. The Thule Camber 2 Bike Rack is one of our more popular hanging bike racks. It has tall, arching, upright masts to improve ground and hatch clearance. The arms can be folded downward for easy storage and the rack and even be tilted outward for access to the rear cargo area. If you would like to secure the rack to the hitch you will also want to use the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device part # THSTL2.
