Can figure out how to install the spring to the winch.

I have attached the instructions sheet for the Fulton hand winches that shows how to replace the ratchet spring. The correct part number is # 4769-28.

Basically, you will need to remove the bolt holding the ratchet pawl in place. Be sure to note how it came apart because there will be about 7 pieces total. On the spring, there is a narrow end and a wide end. The wide end hooks into the ratchet pawl and the narrow end hooks to the winch frame.
