Question:
Hi, I am looking to get a hitch to install a bike rack on my 2007 Rabbit? However, there are 2 types Class 1 1000 lbs and Class 1 2000 lbs which one should I buy? and what is the difference? Would this make a difference in the installation? I would like to have a hitch installed with no cutting or shifting of the exhuast pipes. Thank you.

A 2000 lb capacity trailer hitch would be like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver with Drawbar, part # 11074, that you referenced. You would not need to do any drilling or trimming for the installation of this product. Another benefit to this one is that it comes with a drawbar pin and clip. I attached installation instructions for this product for you to check out.
The 1000 lb trailer hitch is the Curt Trailer Hitch, part # 11099, and it requires some minor trimming of the fascia for installation. Since you want a hitch that would install as easily as possible I would recommend the # 11074 over this hitch.
