On the Bargman Recessed Double Tail Light, part # 30-84-527 that you referenced, the white wire is the ground connection, which should be grounded to the trailer frame. The green wires would connect to the wire that feeds the brake/directional lamp , which is typically a yellow wire for the drivers side, and a green wire for the passenger side. The brown wires would connect to the circuit that feeds the running lights, which is typically a brown wire.
