Question:
Superwinch Talon Series Off-Road Winch 345amps draw at 14,000-lbs of pull. What size wiring is necessary for DC wiring connection to battery. Note that DC requires that you gauge wire for round trip from battery-to-device-to-battery. A copy of the installation manual online would be nice...

The Superwinch Talon Series Off-Road Winch is a very nice winch that as you stated draws 345 amps at the 14,000 lb line pull. In order to give you the best option we have, I recommend the Bulldog Winch Rear Wiring Kit - Quick Connect to Terminal End - 2 Gauge - 20' Long # BDW20206. You will want to use the shortest distance possible for the best line pull strength. To get the full amperage, you would need to have your alternator running and have about a 5 foot length. One way to assist in the power draw is to use a pully block like the Bulldog Winch Snatch Block - Gold Zinc Coated - 19,000 lbs # BDW20049.
I've attached the owners manual for you. Let me know if you have further questions.
