Will this hitch lock work for a regular tow-behind hitch?

It would be a bit thin compared to most hitch pins but the part # TR63254 would technically work as a lockable hitch pin.
It's 1/2 inch in diameter and most applications call for 5/8. The part # 1480DAT is a great choice that is the standard 5/8 inch diameter.
The smaller hitch pin size would mean much more movement and rattle when on the road.
