Replacement Steps for 1995 Airstream Travel Trailer

Question:

The width from bolt hole to bolt hole on a top mount plate is 221/2 inches the steps are 24inches wide. I think a two step is probably the best fit.

In order to find the correct fit for your 1995 Airstream, you will need some additional measurements. First, we will need the width of one of the steps. This will narrow down our choices. From the mounting bracket measurement you provided, your steps could be either 22" or 24" wide.

Next we need to ensure that the steps will mount in the allotted space on your trailer. The simplest way to ensure a good fit is to measure the mounting hole spacing on your current steps. You'll measure from the center of the left side mounting hole to the center of the right side mounting hole. In the images I've provided this would be the 25 3/8" measurement. These diagrams show the different measurements we took of the Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps, # SMFP-3100.

If you are able to supply these measurements, I would be happy to recommend a set of steps that will work for you.

Thank you for the additional information. I think that for a 2-step 24" model your best bet would be the Flexco Manual Steps, # SMFP-2100. This manual step gets great reviews and is easy to install. The mounting bolt pattern is 24 1/2" wide and 7" deep. You'll want to verify that you have enough space to mount the steps. If not, you can always go with the 20" steps, # SMFP-2120, which has a mounting bolt pattern of 20 1/2" wide and 7" deep.
