For your older trailer, I recommend getting new axles due to your non-standard spindle measurements. I recommend the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System - Straight Spindle Only - 3,500 lbs # ASR3500S05 which will have idler hubs # AKIHUB-555-35-EZ-K that match your bolt pattern available. These can be used in tandem applications and will replace the leaf spring suspension on your trailer as well. You can add trailer brakes to these assemblies if you desire as they do have the brake flange.
If you are interested in a through axle, I will need the spring center to spring center measurement as well as the hub face to hub face measurement to see if we have any through axle options compatible with your trailer.
Let me know if I can be of further help.
