I need to purchase a hitch for a fifth wheel. My truck is a 2017 Titan XD diesel with a 6.5 bed. I would like the hitch to be removable if possible. The Titan XD comes with gooseneck capability if that factors into your advise. The fifth wheel I intend to purchase is 8400lbs. My titan tow rating is for 11,700 lbs. Is having a 6.5 bed an obstacle? Thank you.

For a 2017 Nissan Titan XD, we have the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Nissan Titan XD Towing Prep Package - Slide Bar Jaw - 16K # C16515-16026 which is a removable hitch. For use in a 6-1/2 Foot Bed, I recommend using a Sidewinder which will be pin box specific to your trailer to give you the turning clearance necessary. To use this hitch with a sidewinder, you'll also need Wedge # C16991 to keep the king pin from rotating inside the hitch.
