on item # EM07706 will this fit on my truck F-150 STX 5.6 bed with a cap or shell?

We do have a ladder rack for your 2014 Ford F-150 that will fit on a truck cap but the Erickson # EM07706 does not. It will work great on your truck but not with the cap. It installs inside the bed rails.
However, the TracRac # TH29200XT will work on a truck cap. You'll need to drill into the cap to mount the brackets. Then the slotted, aero crossbars install into the brackets.
