Recommended Class III Receiver Hitch and Accessories for 2007 Buick Rendezvous

Published 05/02/2011

Question:

I have a5x8 Carry-on enclosed trailer and a 2007 Buick Rendezvous. Will this hitch be the correct one for this combination? Also, does it attach to the frame? what else would I need to order to get this show on the road? Thanks!

The Draw-Tite Class III Receiver you mentioned, part # 75430 would be an excellent choice. The hitch has a 3500 lb towing/ 350 lb tongue weight capacity. You will want to check with your owners manual for the actual towing capacity of the vehicle, and abide by whichever figure is lower.

The receiver installs by bolting to the frame, as you can see by examining the instructions and the install video I will provide links to.

To complete your towing set-up, you will need a wiring harness part # 118383 (or part # 41405 if your Rendezvous is equipped with the tow package) , a ball mount, part # 2753 and the appropriate trailer ball, part # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch ball or part # 19247 for a 2 inch ball.

I have also provided instruction links for the wiring harnesses, and a link to our Towing Systems FAQ that you might find helpful.
