Would the 2017 Honda Civic hatch back lx be able to pull this super light load?

For your 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback we have the Curt hitch part # C92UR which is a confirmed fit. It has a 2,000 lb capacity and could easily handle the small trailer in your picture with a kayak. You'd need to check with Honda or the owner's manual of your vehicle for if your vehicle is rated for towing or not.

For trailer wiring you then would want the part # 119250KIT which is a confirmed fit. For a ball mount you'd need the #3593 , for a 2 inch hitch ball part # 19258, or part # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
