Question:

I have a 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek with factory OEM aero crossbars. I am wondering if the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14 will fit with the aero crossbars.

The Yakima RocketBox Pro 14, part # Y07192 is a verified fit with Yakima for the 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek with OEM Aero crossbars that are not branded WhispBar. The clamp mounts are adjustable to a variety of sizes and should fit easily.

If not, you can use the Universal MightyMounts, part # Y03590 that are designed to fit most other shaped roof bars and are easy to switch to from your current clamps.

Specifically, the distance between the center of your two crossbars will need to be at least 24 inches for any Yakima roof box to work.

Since you have a rear hatch, you'll want to ensure that the RocketBox Pro's length does not prevent your rear hatch from opening. To ensure this, you'll want to measure the distance from the center of your front Crossbar to the line where your hatch meets your roof. This will tell you the maximum distance that the box can be from the front crossbar to the end of the box. This varies by vehicle and box combination, so you'll need to measure it prior to purchase.

To clear your hatch and be able to use it, you need this distance to be at least 45-inches to be able to use your hatch with this box.
