Comparing Thule Hold Fast Bike Rack Cradles

Question:
What is the difference in the Thule hold fast cradle parts of 8523005002 and 8523005001? Is one improved over the other? I am looking to replace all the broken ones on my Thule 9030 bike rack. Your help is appreciated. Thank you

The Thule Vertex 9030 uses replacement cradle # 852-3005-002 according to the parts list for that model from Thule. But I talked to Thule and you could also use 852-3005-001 if you wanted. There is no discernable difference between the 2 according to my Thule contact.
