How to Fix a Sagging 2 Step Kwikee Electric RV Step
Published 08/18/2017 >
Question:
My 2002 Admiral motorhome has Kwikee steps. They are the two step version[model 32?] The last couple of years I am seeing a sagging and suspect that it must be missing the stop that would prevent this from happening. Any solution, short of replacement?

Sounds like the Kwikee step that you have installed on your 2002 Admiral motorhome may be needing replacement. When these steps begin to sag it is because the pivot points and the hinge pins are worn out from use over time. There are no replacement parts to help repair the step.
If you can give us some measurements we will be able you a replacement step. The easiest way to find suitable replacement steps is to measure the mounting hole spacing where the original steps are installed.
The Lippert Components Kwikee 32 Series Double Tread Electric Step, # LC372261, for example, has the following specs: Rise: 7 inches; Run: 9 inches; Tread: 24 inches: Mounting Bolt Pattern: 8 x 22 inches.
I have attached a link will take you to the product page that will show you all the 2 step electric RV steps we carry on the site for you to review.
