When Fully Compressed Does Timbren Axle Less Kit ASR2000S02 Match Frame Height

Question:

RE: Part # ASR2000S02 The ETrailer diagram attached shows the spindle located below the trailer bed approx. 2 5/8inch below. It also shows the range of compression, which also equals 2 5/8. Does this mean that: a The spindle position at full compression is the same height as the trailer bed or b At full compression, there is still 2 5/8inch vertically to the trailer bed? The diagram is confusing and I need to a tire size to obtain the proper ground clearance. Also, the part description mentions Regular tiresinch several times. What does this refer to? Regular trailer tires? Regular DOT vehicle tires? Please clarify. Thank you!

The full deflection range of the spindle on the Timbren Axle Less kit part # ASR2000S02 is 2-5/8 inch. Which also happens to be the same distance from the spindle center to the frame. That means when this is fully compressed it will be the same height as the frame channel.

The kit should be used with standard ST rated trailer tires.
