Question:
Looking at running boards for 2017 GMC Acadia Limited SLT2. I am 300lbs. Will the Westin # 27-6120-1835 hold up?

I do have a running board kit that will support you, however, I called my contact at Westin Automotive and unfortunately they were not able to give me a weight capacity rating for the Westin Sure-Grip Running Boards w/ Custom Installation Kit part # 27-6125-1835.
I recommend using the DeeZee NXc Running Boards w Custom Installation Kit part # DZ16202-16210 as these are a confirmed fit for your 2017 GMC Acadia Limited and have a weight capacity of 350 lbs. They also come with everything needed for installation. I have attached a photo of these running board installed on a similar model for you.
