Recommended 2 Bike Rack for 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon with OEM Hitch

Hey there, I have a 2015 Subaru Outback with an OEM hitch. Im sure you get a lot of questions about this issue sorry, but I really want the Swagman Chinook 2 to work for my hitch. Is it compatible? Thanks!

I may have a solution for you, however the Swagman Chinook 2 Bike Platform Rack # S64683 referenced in your question will not fit properly inside the OEM hitch on your 2015 Subaru Outback. The shallow hitch pin hole location on the receiver will not be large enough to accept the shank on the Chinook.

I instead recommend the Yakima HoldUp 2 Bike Rack # Y02445. We have confirmed that the Yakima bike racks work well with the shallow hitch pin design on the Subaru OEM trailer hitch receivers. This is a very nice bike rack that can hold up to 2 bikes at 60 pounds each and features a spring-loaded pin in the base that will let you tilt the rack down or fold it up. A bike and hitch lock are also included to secure everything into place and help deter theft.
