Question:
The description of the Master Lock 99KADSPT says the cable diameter is 2 mm, which seems very small. My question is if the Cable, with its metal end caps will fit through a 1/4inch - 6.35 mm - opening in a latch. I am also looking for a combination cable lock that will pass through the same size opening.

We do indicate the cable diameter of Master Lock Cable Gun Lock # 99KADSPT as being 2mm, which I agree does sound rather small. So I went to our warehouse and measured this item with a digital caliper to get a confirmed cable diameter. The exterior diameter of the cable is 5mm. This includes the vinyl wrap on the cable.
I also measured the similar Master Lock Armored cable lock # 107KADSPT and found the cable as well as the metal clasp on the end of the cable to measure right at 5mm. This is very close to the specified dimension of 5.6mm. This will definitely fit through a 1/4-inch hole.
We do not have any combination style cable locks with this same or smaller cable diameter.
