Roof Rack Option With Fixed Mounting Points For A 2013 Mazda 3

Question:

I am planning purchasing one of your racks but it must fit my 2013 Mazda 3. It is a 4 door sedan and has a naked roof. I don't want to have straps that go into the door frame.

The 2013 Mazda 3 came from the factory with 2 different roof options. Your vehicle would of either came with fixed mounting points or without fixed mounting points. From the looks of the photos you have attached, you have the fixed mounting points.

An excellent roof rack option for your vehicle that will not attached to the door jambs is the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar System part # RRVA118B-2, part # RRRLKVA, and part # DK289. The Rhino-Rack Aero Crossbars are constructed of a lightweight aluminum that will aid in both noise reduction and wind resistance. The top channel crossbars will let you add channel-mounted carriers and accessories. The kit comes with plastic locking cores to deter theft. You can upgrade to metal locking cores using the Rhino-Rack Locking Endcaps for Vortex Aero Crossbars part # RRVA-LEC4 if necessary.
