Question:

Can the trailer hitch be installed to mercedes GLC 300 equipped with surround view camera and parking assist? If so, What is the towing limit? Thanks!

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" Item # C13290 is listed as a fit for all models of the 2016 - 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class GLC300 and does not exclude models that have the Surround View camera system.

The vehicle towing capacity is either 3,500 pounds or 4,850 according to the owner's manual f0or the 2016 GLC 300. But they do not specify which models have which rating so you may have to inquire with a Mercedes dealer. For the 2017 all models are rated for 3,501 pounds gross trailer weight. Since these capacities are lower than those for the Curt trailer hitch you will need to go by the lower vehicle rating.

If you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.

If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
