I just purchased a 2 5/16inch pintle hitch replacment ball. Can I use it on a standard hitch

I took a look at your invoice and see that you purchased the Curt 2-5/16 inch Hitch Ball # C48830.
If the trailer hitch ball mount you have has a 1-1/4 inch shank hole for the ball you can sure use this hitch ball. This hitch ball has a 16,000 lb capacity.
