Question:
I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport with the stock size spare tire 255/75 R17 mounted on the tailgate. What is the measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the spare tire when the receiver is installed?

We have not had the opportunity to get the measurements from the center of the hitch pin hole on Trailer Hitch, # DT78MR, out to the end of the spare tire. However, on a similar hitch, # 13432, and a 2008 Jeep Wrangler, it is 12 inches. It does appear less than that when you look at the image in the instructions for # 75515 which I have linked for reference.
If you plan on doing some towing, the recommended ball mount is # AMSC2 and you can use pin and clip # PC3. For a ball, you can use # 19260 (1-7/8 inch diameter), # 19247 (2 inch diameter), or # 63847 (2-5/16 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, use T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, # 118416. I have included a link to the installation details and a video showing a typical installation.
